This week brought us an abundance of jalapeno and banana peppers along with the usual okra and a surprise picking of green beans.( I thought they were finished but the cooler weather obviously helped.)
We're used to an abundance of jalapenos at this time of the year. Last year, we made jelly, froze poppers and made hot pepper sauce but still had plenty. This year, I cut back from 18 plants to 9 but it appears we'll still have more than we can use and they produce till first frost, which is at least 7-8 weeks away.
